My name is Alison Purvis and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Paul at Lion's Gate Hospital for the past 8 years. To all of you that I have heard much about but never met, I am so terribly sorry for you loss. Paul was a man of absolute integrity and authenticity. He was capable of tremendous patience, empathy and an ability to make each individual he interacted with feel important. From us, his colleagues, to the nurses, ward clerks and switchboard operators he is terribly missed. To Lynn, ALex and Mira.... you were the lights of his life. I can't begin to tell you of all of the hockey and diving stories that he has shared....each time with a smile bright enough to light the world. Memories live on in our hearts forever. I am grateful to have shared a small piece of Paul's journey.
