The best Uncle myself (Kaitlin) and sister Sarah could have ever asked for.  Dress up's and ice cream were always mandatory for our Uncle Paul visits.

    I am heartbroken to hear of Paul's death.

    Paul was one of my best friends in med school. He was an amazing man; I was a geeky, inexperienced goof and learned so much about resilience, acceptance and decency from him. We ate, we camped, we drove. In class, we laughed and talked and learned.

    Few people have so influenced me. I hope I carry some of him in me,

    I have not spoken to Paul in quite a few years, much to my regret, but will miss him very much. I am so sad tonight.

    My deepest condolences to his family.
